Tell us what it is doing, and how we get to it
Which room, what time of day, how long it has been like that — and where the equipment is. If you can send three photographs (the way in, the equipment from a distance, the rating plate) we can tell you what the visit will involve before anybody gets in a van.
Talk it through
A two-minute conversation settles more than a form does. Call and describe the problem, and we will tell you honestly whether it is ours to fix. We work across Berkeley and its neighbours.
Telephone
(341) 214-4672
Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm.
No email address is published here yet. When there is one it will be a real address that somebody reads — and it is where the photographs should go.
Who we come out to
Berkeley, Albany, El Cerrito, Emeryville, Oakland, Kensington, Richmond and Piedmont. If you are just outside that, ask — the answer depends on the week rather than on the boundary.
If you can smell gas
Do not use this form and do not wait for us. Get everybody out of the building, then call the gas utility from outside. Once the supply has been shut off, only the utility should turn it back on.
